I know I should get over it, but I miss Galinda - oh I'm sorry, "Glinda" or whatever she calls herself these days. It wasn't perfect at Shiz University, but really I thought we were true friends. But I had to fly away on that broomstick. And it didn't help that we both loved Fiyero. Will it ever be the same again?

So someone wrote a play about me, it's called Wicked the musical. I'm almost afraid to see it, but I hear it's really popular. Am I famous? Will people want my autograph? I hope this story has a happy ending.

Who invented this holiday, anyway? Candy and roses, chocolate and love. But what if no one ever gave you a Valentine and no one ever will? How do you put that in a Hallmark card? This day just makes me feel more alone ever before. I think I'll send some poisoned chocolate to Dorothy.

So, I spent a lot of time at my cabin reading self help books. And I hate to admit it, but I liked them! Maybe I will write my own book about how to deal with green skin, a flakey best friend, and Dorothy....

Hooray, it's Friday and I'm going away for the weekend! My bag is all packed and I can't wait to get to my cabin. This will be my first night at my cabin in the woods! It's got a great view of the Emerald City, but it's private enough that no one can see me even without magical shields. It's pretty high on the mountain, so I'll be on top of the world. Some more good news: I am gaining weight! My broomstick was having trouble getting off the ground today. I guess I've been eating too many Christmas cookies lately... and I know it's January! But it's ok, I'll work it off when I go chase after Dorothy.

I'm suffering from SAD, seasonal affective disorder, and my skin is getting so pale it's more like lime green. I'm just depressed in general, it's not like there is much to cheer me up. Maybe I will go to therapy, they are supposed to listen to anyone, right?

So I've been stuck at home for days in a blizzard, and cabin fever is driving me crazy. Of course, my phone is ringing off the hook with friends and family who want to know if I'm ok... actually I haven't gotten so much as a wrong number. I need to get out of here!

I've heard that if you don't have any family traditions, you can start your own. So this year, I'm going to do something special for New Year's Eve... but what? Well, the new year can't be any worse than the last one, that's comforting.

So I got one Christmas card, from my landlord. I checked to see if he was raising the rent, but I guess he had some of the holiday spirit! I stuck my broomstick in the living room, hung some ornaments on it, and called it a tree.

Maybe Dorothy and her little friends will come caroling to my door, I better go make some cookies for them! Ha ha ha!
